At AFF Level Four, one instructor will accompany you on each jump until you complete AFF Level Seven. You will jump with two instructors for the first three levels of the AFF program. After opening, you will fly the parachute to landing with back up assistance via radio from the ground. Your instructors will be at your side throughout freefall, coaching you during the skydive until you deploy your parachute. Specific currency and performance standards apply to all levels. Each pair of skydives is designed to be completed the same day, or as close as possible, within a maximum of 30 days.

FREEFALL SKYDIVE LICENSE
To obtain a USPA A license, you must complete a minimum of 25 skydives, successfully pass all the requirements on the A license proficiency card and pass the written and oral A license exam. Once you have USPA A license you may jump without supervision, pack your own main parachute and engage in group jumps. A USPA A license is an internationally recognized certification that allows the holder to jump at dropzones around the world and jump with other license holders. The A license is the gateway that enables a relatively new skydiver to get involved in everything the sport has to offer. 2.Ī license remove_circle_outline add_circle_outline You can then proceed to achieve the various levels of the license and specialize in various disciplines of the sport. For the remaining skydives, you will have just one instructor by your side.Īfter you pass all categories you are an AFF graduate and are ready to perform your first solo skydive. For the first three skydives, you will be accompanied by two instructors. Each of the seven skydives consists of a fixed set of maneuvers that you must perform before you can move on to the next one.
Learning how to skydive is about progression. The first ten minutes of tunnel time will be done on the day of the ground school, and the remaining time will be completed during the course, as required (depending on the progression of the student).
Once successfully completed, students are ready for their first skydive.
